Rachel Castle is one clever little lady. She founded Castle, a collection of handcrafted and handprinted pieces for the home. She reminds me a little Tracey Emin with her felted word artworks. Happy Weekend everyone! What are you up to this weekend? Its already been quite busy for me. Last night I volunteered as support crew for a bunch of friends who are doing the Oxfam Trail Walker challenge this weekend, then a family dinner was in order. Today the big A and I have been for a run (he totally kicked my unhealthy butt) and then tonight we have a super sweet party on. I think tomorrow could be filled with a DVD marathon of Gavin & Stacey. Yay!
It's A Sad Farewell
My friends, Its a sad day. You may remember that a while back I bought the most awesome 60's sofa and I have been daydreaming about how I'd cover it and how nice it would be to have a new couch. But its not to be, the reupholstering is that bit too difficult so the sofa is up on ebay. Check it out here.

I'm seeing some of my family for numerous cups of tea and on Saturday night the girls are painting the town red for our lovely friend Seija's birthday.

This one is an oldie in blog world but I recently read the story behind this shoot and I couldn't resist sharing with you. The very talented Tec Petaja created this wedding story for Nashville Lifestyles. It follows the wedding day of pretend couple Penelope and William and I tells you the look is just loverly! A farm yard style wedding was set complete with hay bales but the part I love the most is the simply enchanting dinner set in the great outdoors. Its mismatched perfectness! Enjoy....
