Awesome! This is Right By My Work

It is always awesome when you see something inspiring from blogworld and then realise it is actually close to your own neighbourhood. Take for instance, The Sydney Dance Company Cafe - it's a stones throw away from my work and the food is delicious.

Make A Martini Bar

Do it yourself bars are such a neat idea. Everything placed out, ready for people to mix up their own drink. Here's Sunday Supperstake on a Martini bar - loving the rustic italian feel they have going on with the simple tablecloth, almost industrial decanters and pops of silverware. It makes me want to make a little Martini for myself, and I don't even drink Martini's!

Buy This: Cloud Cookie Cutter

The clever people over at Forty Six at Grace have been busy making cloud cookies with the special use of this darling cooking cutter from Herriott Grace. Visit here to see the full tutorial. Mmmmmm.

Something to Try

A new spin of a simple glass of water, toped with fresh sprigs of mint. I think I'll try this at our next dinner party, it looks pretty refreshing hey?

Weekend Brunch Goodness

This weekend the big A and I had some of our lovely friends Wei and Fazzy over to celebrate Wei's birthday.  The big A made a delicious breakfast of french toast with a raspberry puree - mmm it was good.

Brooke and Erin, Its Candy Time!

My lovely friends Brooke and Erin are having candy tables at their weddings.   So I thought they might just like to see this mood board from Project Wedding for some candy time inspiration.  Yummy!

Clever Catering

What a rad idea.  Carly of The Adventures of Bunny and Chip had a novel idea for their engagement party.  They had a  taco truck drive right up to their house to cater for their engagement party.  People could take their margaritas and beers right out to the driveway to get their mexican fiesta hit.  Our friend Tully would love this idea - he is mexican food mad.  Check out some pics ....
