They were just married on a farm in Georgia and Ginny got everyone into the theme - The men were given cute summer hats to wear while the women were asked to wear 20's style dresses. It looks like such a great day.

She has the best sense of style and I was lucky enough to visit her store when Aaron and I were in Brisbane. She and her friend went on a big vintage shopping spree on Saturday and this isn't even all of their purchases, there is more being delivered in the week! Well done ladies!

Downloadable Cookie Bags
Are you looking for a sweet (pardon the pun!) cost effective party favour? Wedding Chicks has a very sweet (ooops, sorry - pun again!) downloadable template for printing on sandwich bags. I would imagine roping my mum into helping me bake up a storm and then it would be pretty simple to print these out and bag up.

Happy weekend everyone! I hope you have a great couple of days planned. This weekend I'm going to do some engagement party preparation and tonight we are going for a dinner at a beer cafe with all of our mates. Gotta go, the Big A has just come home with a tea for me. Whatta guy.

Our 7 Year Anniversary
I'm doing a bit of reminiscing today. Back in March the Big A and I celebrated our anniversary, it was such a fun day. We take it in turns to be in charge of the day's celebrations and this year it was up to me. First up was a stealth mission to surprise A at work with a present. I filled a jar with his favorite lollies and then attached a big red helium balloon. (the idea was inspired by the amazing Jordan from Oh Happy Day) The Big A works at a university so I dropped the present in the uni courtyard and then got one of his friends to tell him "there is a message for you to go to the courtyard and look for something red" He came downstairs with an inquisitive look and then a bit smile when he read his card! Here are some pics I took while hiding behind a tree watching him find his present.
With the success of the stealth present mission over we went me up later that day at our favourite harbour beach for a sunset picnic. I'd brought along a gourmet picnic mix - a beautiful mat, candles, delicious food, beer. It was so much fun.

I Heart The Donna Hay Store
Last Sunday I visited the Donna Hay general store which is a short walk from my house. The store is filled with so many goodies - candles, cleaning products, dishes! But my favourite was the super sweet baking dishes, beautiful twine, patty cake cases. And...they had a kitchen out the back to bake up cupcakes, brownies and macaroons. A SERIOUSLY good shop!

Sick Sick Sick
I've caught a lurgy so I'm holed up at home. Sorry for the lack of posts but my day has consisted of sleeping, tissues and movies like Gigi and Coming to America. Bowie has been very good company snoozing with me. I'll be posting as I'd saved a whole heap over the weekend.
