Way Too Early In The Morning If You Ask Me...

IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!!!

In less than 5 hours she will no longer be Kate Middleton from little Chapel Row in Berkshire but will become Her Royal Highness Prince William of Wales.

Now that's a big jump.

Before she officially becomes a royal, I shall dedicate this final "Kate Middleton Post" to the casual parts of her style.

Kate can pull off almost anything!

One, she is a former athlete and tomboy so her figure is amazing!

Two, unlike many who surround her in the "royal circle", Kate loves a good bargain! She has even been known to frequent T.K. Maxx! (a British version of our T.J. Maxx)

Miss Middleton's fashion haunt of choice is a street called King's Road. Filled with stores that are mainstream, find-at-the- mall type places.

What I admire most about Kate is how she can turn the simplest, and I mean THE SIMPLEST pieces and put them together and make them look chic. Amazing.

Here are a few pieces that frequently pop up in her outfits.

The Blazer.

[Both from H&M]

Or Coat.

[Modcloth.com]

Jeans.

[Levi Strauss]

Boots!!!!

(LOVE her boots!)

[Pollini and Charles David]

Well I'm off to take advantage of what little sleep time I have left!

I still can't believe how RIDICULOUSLY early that wedding is tomorrow! To quote my lovely mother, "You would think that they would have a little more consideration for their American fans!"

[Love you mommy :) ]

Seriously, I can not wait to wake up tomorrow to watch all the wedding festivities!

Wait, did I just say that I can't wait to wake up?

I must be REALLY tired.

Until next post!

Kate Middleton's Style

Tomorrow she will marry Prince William while
millions of people watch, but today we look
at her impeccable style. She wears amazing
hats and headpieces, and has a coat
collection I would love to have. She has
a classic style that is perfect for a princess-to-be.
I can't wait to see all the fashion at the wedding,
and of course Kate's wedding dress.

Royally Engaged!

Whether it be for a casual day out...

Or attending to royal matters...

Miss Kate Middleton has proven time and again that she knows whats what in the fashion department.

For formal occasions Kate ops for dresses that

-Are a modest, comfortable cut.

-Pop with color.

- Move well.

Below are a few "Kate worthy" frocks that I found on my go-to online dress shop, modcloth.com

And when she doesn't have royal matters to attend to, Kate can be seen sporting some pretty adorable dresses. Sometimes floral. Sometimes frilly.

And sometimes not.

But this is what I love most about this girl's look.

SENSIBLE HEELS!

I'm not GaGa with her RIDICULOUS looking heels okay? I'm just a normal girl who likes her feet to not cry when she wears her heels. Thank you. Sheesh.

In paparazzi photos Miss Middleton can be spotted wearing a single pair of black heels with various outfits.

Yeah, one pair.

Here are a couple by BCBG and Franco Sarto that I found on shoes.com (--seriously?)

AND FINALLY!

The freakin engagement ring!!!

Now I'm totally for the unconventional looking engagement ring and here it is! Its Sapphire and diamond!

Gorgeous.

As you probably already knew, it belonged to Prince William's late mother Princess Diana.

Romantic right?!

And, as I learned a few days ago, you can buy your own replica of the ring!

asdfgjkl!?!?!?

(okayokay I know I'm late with this news but it's still exciting okay?)

You can buy yours for the $20-$30 range at Amazon.com, Emitations.com, or probably Ebay.

But if you're in the market for a REALly fake imitation then you can check out Bradfordexchange.com or Hobbyandleisure.co.uk

IT'S IN A WEEK!

ONE WEEK TO GO PEOPLE!!!!

I'm going to go get my replica Princess Diana engagement ring and my wedding rice ready for the big day! (MORNING! UGHHH!)

Until next post,

Peace, Love, and Fashion,

Hats Off To You Miss Kate Middleton!

By now, unless you live under a rock or something, I'm sure all of you have heard about the royal wedding. I sure have.

IT'S THE ROYAL FREAKIN WEDDING!

AAAAAH!

Yeah, I guess you can say I'm pretty excited for it :)

My mom told me that she got up super early the day of Prince Charles and Princess Diana's wedding, and like mother like daughter you can be sure I will be up at 4 A.M. on Friday the 29th to witness the wedding magic. Oh yeahhh.

I have no clue why Americans get more excited for this kind of stuff than the Brits do. I mean it's not like they went into a frenzy when our first African-American president was elected. Hmm. I guess we get the "American Dream" and they get princesses and royal weddings and such.

Not fair.

Anywho, let's move on shall we?

Let me take you back to when the lovely royal couple Prince William and Kate Middleton first got engaged...

1. I had no clue they had even been dating, let alone for almost 8 years!

2. My mom told me that I sort of look like her. Which I then took as an insult because, hey, I had only seen pictures of past royal Princesses and Queens when they were older. And yeah, maybe, somehow, I thought she was old. My bad.

But Miss Kate Middleton is sooooooo pretty!

I think another reason for all of this hype about her is because she IS normal. She isn't royal or special in anyway other than dating the Prince. Which is pretty romantic. *Que the sappy Disney Princess movie soundtrack*

So in honor of this royal occasion. I'm going to celebrate by focusing on how "normal Kate" seems to always look royal.

First, lets talk about hats.

Kate has really taken the dull hat trend (only rarely seen at the horse races, Easter, and the occasional funeral) and given it new life.

Kate's new fashion staple has put designers like Whiteley Fischer (in the millinery business for 60 years) and Philip Treacy back on the map.

And here are some hair pieces that I'm sure Kate herself would enjoy.

Below are some head pieces found on Amazon.com by designers such as USABride, Feathermart, and Zad Jewlery ranging in price from $15 -$65.

And here are some more affordable pieces from Forever 21 ranging from $4.80- $12.80

That's it for now!

Until next post,

Peace, Love, Royal Weddings, and Fashion,

Em
