VMA White Carpet....Glad I Dont Have To Clean Up After That One

OK first and for most, the title I wasn't trying to be funny. Well sorta. I honestly wouldn't want to have to clean up after a COMPLETELY white carpet! Would you?!

It did look cool though :)

Alright so, unlike the rest of the stinkin world, I watched the VMAs on Monday night instead of Sunday. Whatevs, better late then never ;)

And of course I watched the white carpet pre show! And like every other carpet show there where the stars who totally nailed it in the fashion department, and some who....well, lets just say they should stick to making music.

Alright so let us see who stood out this year... (photo credits to google as always :) )

So the great Lady Gaga.... OK to be honest she wears some of THE CRAZIEST stuff known to man! Like literally stuff only meant for the runway. I do commend her on her efforts and her creative outlook on fashion AND the fact that she always pulls it off enough to wear it.

Like this frock from Alexander McQueen last collection. She also had many other outfits throughout the night (including a black number that she could barely walk in!!!) Here are the shoes she wore with said black dress... I saw these once in Teenvogue and was convinced NOBODY would ever where them. Thanks Lady G for proving me wrong!

Okay I SAY THIS EVERY TIME BUT ASHLEY. GREENE. Cute as always in her Giambattista Valli Resort 2011 cocktail dress

Okay so I knew Katy Perry was pretty but LOOK AT HER! Shes so gorgeous! AND shes wearing Marchesa, MARCHESA!! Love it :)

Alright so the guys....

Geeze so I know its hard because they are guys but these VMAs lacked.....well carpet status attire.

Like Dane Cook. It's okay but he also has that "rolled out of bed" look. :/

BUT DRAKE! He totally pulled off the all black look :)

And I sadly could not find a picture of it but B.o.B.'s (I'm pretty sure it was him anyways) light purple and white blazer!!! I thought that was super cool (although didn't so much like the paint splattered, ripped everywhere jeans *thumbs down*) OH and Usher's performance. SPACE SUIT! Eh it's the VMAS :) and for those of you with Bieber Fever....His jacket was pretty cool :)

So anyone agree with me? It's also okay to go out on a limb and disagree with me ;)

Dye To Die For :)

So Prob one of my favv posts here :)

Ok so at first I was gonna talk about the recent Teen Choice awards and go on about the different outfits like this one Ashley Greene wore.(ah shes so pretty!)

Its a Valentino dress with a black clutch by Ferragamo, in case you are wondering.

As fun as that may all sound, that's NOT what I'm blogging about :) Instead I will talk about the all time summer staple TIE-DYING!!!!

I recently had my first "dying" experience with my siblings this past weekend. We were bored and randomly decided to tie-dye. It all worked out pretty well for being inexperienced and here are some pics from it. Oh, and for all you Do- It- Yourselfers I used RIT dye that I bought at my local grocery store.

So being inspired by tie-dying I googled to see what else I could find about it. I do remember when it was a summer trend, and when I was "retro" or whatever to wear it. But I also found pics of some really cute pieces and some of my fav celebs wearing them.

Starlight Twilight Spotlight on Ashley Greene :)

First, like the dorky rhyming title? Yeah genius I know. Just kidding.

Back to business. So If you are like me your waiting with baited breath or dying to see the knew enstalment of the Twilight saga ECLIPSE! (Hah like my pun about "dying". Yeah, gotcha, still not funny. Sorry) Anywho, I'm super excited to see it and I'm not afraid to admit it. And come one people! I get they used to be chessy and cheap looking but NOT ANYMORE! So get over it okay?

So not only is it like a bomb movie (btw I'm going to the midnight premiere. People! It's summer! Chill. lol), but my favorite charactere happens to be the one with all the fashion sence. Go figure. It's Alice Cullen played by the equally fashionable ASHLEY GREENE!!! *sighs*

This girl is one of my fashion celebrity icons. Everything from her hair (which I cut my hair last year when she cut hers so I could match :) ) to her cutsie, flirty, and bubbly style, this girl has got it!
