So this past weekend was Memorial Day weekend, and I got to go to a family retreat (it's a tradition) I stayed in a room with a bunch of other teen girls, and you know what that means, suitcases and clothes everywhere!
You are probably thinking "ok... where is she going with this..." And sorry but I'm getting there.
So at one point in the weekend I was wearing this red jacket (kinda old, but it's one of my favs) and my friend really liked it, and she was wearing a short sleeved blue jacket which I secretly adored, so we traded!!! Then later in the day my other friend brought out these dresses that she had packed( OK people! We were in the mountains! Shorts and shirts attire, not dresses!) But I saw one and said " I NEED TO TRY THIS ON!" It was strapless so, on a whim, I put the jacket back on. Not too bad looking. I was also wearing this headband that I had crafted out of torn strips of fabric, so I tied it around me like a belt. I thought I would look ridiculous! But I didn't, so I left that on for the rest of the day (Yes, Unlike the rest of the camp with their shorts and shirts, I opted to be the rebel :) )
I have since returned home, but I still have the jacket (we traded!!) I had to return the dress :'( BUT I shall try to get myself one, so hope is still alive :D Don't worry! You haven't read this entry for nothing because I included pictures! You know, for visual stimulation.
