Hello Everyone! Like I said before, sorry for the posting( or lack there of) issues. So Recently there was this little thing in the fashion world that we like to call NEW YORK FASHION WEEK!!
So I've picked a few of some new(they really aren't new designers but they are new to me) designers that have caught my attention at this fashion week.
I've tried to find pics (thanks google search!) of the designers and their clothes, plus I've added quotes from them that I found in The Wall Street Journal Fashion column.
First is:
REBECCA TAYLOR
"Mixture of 70s Parisian attitude and urban NYC girl."
She pre-washed fabrics to give them a "worn", overly loved appeal.
Her line consisted of cashmere wool suits, leopard faux furs, and down quilted coats.
Next:
SOPHIE THEALLET( She's probably one of my fav ;) )
"I was thinking about folklore and children's stories all around the world. I want to bring back the magic of when we fell in love with our first princess dresses."
Her line consisted of ready to travel dresses with knit wear.
And Finally:
NANETTE LEPORE( I so know that she is well known but I decided to add her in anyways ;) )
"I was inspired by a Renaissance portrait in a book"
Her line consisted of bright, flowy fabrics.
